PTA unblocked TikTok in Pakistan

Lahore: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has lifted up the ban on social media application TikTok on Monday.

The app was banned throughout Pakistan few days back as the authority said that its management failed to block the immoral content which may well not fit with the moral values of Pakistani values and culture.

The Chinese origin app is also facing similar situation in other countries as well.

The management of TikTok said that they are pleased to see that the app has been unblocked in Pakistan.

“We appreciate the PTA’s commitment to ongoing productive dialogue and recognize their care for the digital experience of Pakistani users.” the company said.
