China Industrial Expo 2020 kicked-off in Lahore

Lahore: President Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) S.M. Naveed said that China can help a lot in resolving the energy issues being faced by Pakistan and can provide the much desired relief painstakingly to the industrial, commercial and domestic sector of the country.

He expressed his views at the inauguration of the “Offline/Online Pakistan China Industrial Expo 2020” on Friday. More than 1000 participants from both countries attended the exhibition at both offline and online platforms.

Naveed appreciated Chinese businessmen working in Pakistan for putting up a superb show in which, companies of both countries have showcased their potentials at largesse level. He hoped that the exhibition, as a regular annual feature, would keep the local industry abreast with the international development and trends.

Moreover, the exhibition would lead the way in delivering the most exquisite opportunities for all participants in different sectors like; CNC Machinery, Construction Machinery, New Energy, Building Material, Agricultural Machinery, Plastic Machinery, Hardware, Chemical, and Auto parts, he said adding that the event is launched in innovative mode of, offline and online holding all B2B meetings online via terminal equipment which are installed on every booth.

Earlier, Daud Ahmed, Senior Vice President PCJCCI made address of welcome to the participants. He said that the business community is ready to work hands in gloves with the government for economic prosperity of the country. He observed that the Lahore had emerged as a focal point for investment by the foreign investors, especially the Chinese companies entering into the joint ventures under the framework of CPEC.

Khalid Rafique Choudhry, Vice President PCJCCI added that this is the time when the Punjab government can enable the province to play leading role in economic development of the country by enhancing the facilitation by cutting down the unnecessary regulatory procedures.

Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General PCJCI informed on this occasion that that PCJCCI would organize more conference of this nature in collaboration with Chinese Commerce Departments. He further informed that the concept of this online and offline business interaction is to provide contemporary solutions for carrying out normal business operations by avoiding physical concentration of business people.
