PRA Cracks Down on Tax-Evading Manpower Recruitment Agents in Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD: The Rawalpindi Commissionerate of the Punjab Revenue Authority has taken decisive action by sealing three manpower recruitment agencies for neglecting to pay sales tax on services totaling over Rs. 11 million.

This crackdown targets three recruitment agencies situated in the Commercial Market and Satellite Town areas, which had been previously issued multiple notices. Despite these warnings, the agencies failed to fulfill their tax obligations. Consequently, in the presence of enforcement officers, all three agencies have been sealed. This action aligns with the directives of the Chairperson Punjab Revenue Authority and the Commissioner of Rawalpindi.
